Resolved Question: Why is my tv more fuzzy with digital cable box and AV hookups?

I have a LCD HDTV. Before I just had it hooked up through the regular cable cord and it was fine. I wanted on demand, so my moved my cable box upstairs to my HDTV and hooked it up with the red, white, yellow, RCA connections. The cable box is a digital Charter box not HD I understand that, but the picture is worse than it was when it was hooked up with a basic cable wire form the wall.
