Resolved Question: can someone please explain 30fp, 60fp 1080p & 720p to me?

Ok, i need to know what each means and what its for? 1080p just seems to be a more zoomed in display, but i thought it was for improving quality what is 60p & 30p about? also i look at test of videos on youtube that are supposed to shoot up to 1080p, but i see no option to turn it to 1080p sometimes....
